A catastophe for Yemen

 Urgent action needed The Saudi-led coalition has started a major assault on the city of Hodeidah in Yemen. At least 149 people, including civilians, have been killed over a 24-hour period. Seventeen years in Afghanistan

This weekend marks the 17th anniversary of the invasion of Afghanistan by the US, the UK and several of its allies. According to a conservative estimate, 217,000 Afghans have died as a direct result of the fighting.
