Britain is on the Offensive. We say No!

CND North East Scotland Meeting:  Monday, 4th October 2021 from 7:30pm

We are delighted to have Kate Hudson the General Secretary of UK CND and one of the foremost campaigners against nuclear weapons and war speaking at this month’s meeting. This year Britain has announced an illegal increase in its nuclear arsenal, sent a naval strike force to the South China Sea and joined a new military pact supplying nuclear submarines to Australia. Meanwhile the global majority is backing a global nuclear weapons ban which our government ignores. What is going on and what can we do to work for peace?

Kate’s talk will be followed by questions and contributions then we will go onto our regular monthly meeting as per the attached agenda and minutes from September’s meeting.
